How to Use

  • Should be used only when other effective antifungal therapy is not available or tolerated.

Dosage & Overdose

If there is not adequate improvement after several weeks, the dose may be increased to a maximum of 450 mg once a day in the morning. Administer cholestyramine 8 grams orally 3 times daily for 11 days.

Warnings

  • Due to the thrombocytopenic effects of trastuzumab an additive risk of bleeding may be seen in patients receiving concomitant platelet inhibitors.
  • This medication may be associated with an increased risk of heart attack or stroke.
