How to Use

Dosage & Overdose

Stop using this medication and call your doctor if you have serious side effects such as hot and dry skin, extreme thirst, severe stomach pain or constipation, pain or burning when you urinate, or if you stop urinating. Call your doctor if you have any unusual problems while you are taking the medication.


  • This is due to the urotoxic effects of the metabolite acrolein, which can cause oedema, ulceration, haemorrhage and necrosis of the urothelium.
  • The concomitant use of monoamine oxidase inhibiting compounds is contraindicated.
