Furosemide may cause hyperglycemia and glycosuria in patients with diabetes medicated. Furetic dose treatment of both furosemide and other drugs that undergo renal tubular secretion may result in increased toxicity of both drugs. You can take furosemide with or without food. Drugs other than those listed may also interact with furosemide.
