If you take omeprazole for more than 3 months, therapy levels of magnesium in your blood may fall. Dose adjustment of omeprazole is not normally required.

Omiloc is used to treat diseases such as: Barrett's Esophagus, Duodenal Ulcer, Erosive Esophagitis, Gastritis/Duodenitis, GERD, Helicobacter Pylori Infection, Indigestion, Multiple Endocrine Adenomas, Stomach Ulcer, Systemic Mastocytosis, Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome.
There is no specific antidote to overdosage and treatment must be symptomatic. If calcium supplements must be prescribed, serum calcium levels should be monitored and calcium dosage should be adjusted accordingly.
