How to Use

  • If you have a history of blood clots, including in the legs, lungs, or eyes, taking this medication may increase the risk of getting blood clots.

Dosage & Overdose

Again, the dose required to produce this beneficial effect appears to be quite high, although the data are conflicting and lower doses were not used in most studies. Signs of an overdose include sleepiness, fast heart beat and headache.


  • Patients receiving estrogens should be monitored for an increase in adverse events.
  • Use with caution in patients with significant dental disease.
