Coadministration for use diltiazem and Balcor may increase both use drug and diltiazem plasma concentrations. Although much data suggests that diltiazem is a moderate CYP3A4 inhibitor, the manufacturer of ibrutinib classifies diltiazem as a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor and recommends against coadministration.
